Welcome to the homepage of Spanish Lou. I portray a Cuban scout from the Spanish-American War. I am a member of W.E.S.T., Inc. which portrays the Rough Riders. I am also a member of the Fort MacArthur Museum Assoication. This group preserves the only 14-inch gun fortification built in the United States.
Old Fort MacArthur Days
The Fort MacArthur Museum Association presents its Annual Artillery Show and Living History Event.

This event is known as the Old Fort MacArthur Days. It is the ONLY Artillery Show and Living History event presented in the City of the Angels, Los Angeles, California.

The event is held yearly on the weekend following the Fourth of July holiday. For the year 2000, the event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 8th and 9th. The event will open at 9 am and last until 5 pm on both days.

WEST is an organization that portrays the American frontier, especially the era in 1898 called the Spanish-American War. The group portrays the First United States Volunteer Cavalry Regiment, also known as Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders.
